Overview IO-Link Device Tool - Test SystemTMG TE offers his IO-Link Engineering Tool in combination with his USB IO-Link Master. There are 2 editions which are done for services and sales, development and test & self certification. A library for using the USB IO-Link Master with own software for C and .NET is available. By using the tool with its IODD interpreter for self certification and testing it is the best known tool for IO-Link. The PC software is also used from leading master manufacturers for their fieldbus masters and IO-Link master modules of remote IO systems. The TMG USB IO-Link Master is done for all use cases where a fieldbus IO-Link master is too complicated and need to much additional staff. The Test System is foreseen for the device test according to the IO-Link test specification. It includes the functionality of the Standard Edition (Version 5.1) but supports some additional functionality. In a manual test menu access per index and subindex as well as tracing of the IO-Link telegrams are available. The test configuration is very easy because it uses the information from the IODD. If the test is done successful the test report for vendor declaration can be created. Because the test can be done very easily and largely automatically, the Test System can be used also by system integrators. Creating the test report for vendor declaration is restricted to the company’s vendor ID. Unlock more vendor IDs e.g. for brand labeling is available. There is also a special license model for test centers. |
